At Mat Lodder Polo ARGENTINA we offer a friendly and relaxed environment where we can help you work on perfecting your technique and  develop your game  in the UK off season.

Based at the Puesto Viejo Polo Club, just 70km from Buenos Aires  and 8km from the local town of Canuelas, we are easily accessible, yet a relaxing, polo orientated,  world away from everything…just as we are in the UK!

Puesto Viejo is a 250 acre polo ranch boasting a 1st class polo club and boutique hotel, set in a beautiful  Argentine land scape. Three professional irrigated pitches a practice pitch,  great school horses and Mat’s dedicated attention, make the perfect environment for you to focus on and develop  your polo.

Our accommodation is dedicated to provide you with  everything you need après polo and to ensure a bespoke memorable experience. Colorful, eclectic and traditional décor mixed with   luxury, surrounds you in our 6 double en suite roomsand you will be well looked after and fuelled for your days polo with traditional home made Argentine cooking.

Our standard prices include Mat’s attention and instruction for a morning stick & ball session (no more than 4 to  a group) and  in your afternoon chukkas. The other professionals at Puesto Viejo, ranging from 2-6 goals, also play in these chukkas to ensure control and a good level of polo is provided to you.

Should rain stop play, one thing unfortunately out of our control, we will replace horseback lessons with theory of the game in the club house.

OVERVIEW:

Just like our UK operations we are committed to making polo fun and accessible to all. We offer a basic package price  of  USD 375 per day. For the quality provided and items included, you will appreciate that this is at the ’incredible value’ end of the scale.

Cost includes:

• Airport transfers
• Full board accommodation (ex alcohol sorry)
• Laundry service
• Use of swimming pool and bicycles
• Horses for a.m stick and ball & p.m chukkas
• Instruction from Mat for a.m & p.m sessions

Not Included:

• Flights
• Alcohol, although this can be purchased in hotel
• Fees to any associations
• Entry fees to any matches internal or otherwise
• Insurance
• Any additional activities or private lessons
